Aclid was founded in 2021, in the wake of a pandemic and record-breaking growth of synthetic biology. Safety and security were growing more complicated, and we knew how hard it could be for biotech startups to build a strong foundation.

Kevin Flyangolts

Kevin is the founder and CEO of Aclid, a leading safety and security automation platform. Previously, he was an engineering and product leader at IAC, Bloomberg, Blockdaemon, and PlaceIQ.

Lonnie Rosenbaum

Lonnie leads the product team at Aclid. Prior to joining Aclid as the first product manager, Lonnie led product teams at World Class Health, Healthie, AllWork, and Booker.

SCIENTIFIC FOUNDER

Harris H. Wang, PhD

Harris is an Associate Professor of Systems Biology at Columbia University. He leads the Wang lab focused on research in microbiome and genome engineering.

Todd Peterson, PhD

Todd is Founder and Principal of GenApex Bio. Prior to GenApex Bio, he was CTO of Synthetic Genomics and served as board chair of the International Gene Synthesis Consortium.

Neeraj is an entrepreneur and biotech executive. Most recently he was Senior Director at Battelle leading the synthetic biology biosecurity division and business development for clinical metagenomics, wastewater surveillance, and DNA-based data storage.

Chad is the co-founder and CSO of Humane Genomics, a biotech startup developing synthetic viruses as precision cancer therapies.

Avi Rosenbaum, PhD

Avi is founder of Advisors Bio where he's worked with over 100 founders and investors. Prior to Advisors Bio, Avi led scientific teams at Ion Torrent Systems, Life Technologies, and Thermo Fisher.
